Expectations on ‘Happy’ are ought to be high, as all Allu Arjun’s previous films have turned out to be musical hits. And music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has not disappointed anyone this time too. In fact, he has come out with an album, which has something for everybody. A couple of songs are exceptional with very high pitch while others are good. The energetic and peppy songs in the album would surely attract the youths and masses as well.

"Ossa" is a very energetic song and is full of life, fun and celebration. Jassi Gift and Sucharitha have sung this song. Allu Arjun can showcase his dancing skills with this number and it has all the ingredients of becoming a very popular number. This song will find its way into the pubs and dancing floors in Hyderabad.

"Chal Chal Re" is again a fast song rendered by Clinton. It starts with guitar and describes all the good things of Hyderabad and its people. Yuvan has beautifully used harmanica, strings and keyboard in the interludes. This number has a youthful feel to it.

"Happy" is a peppy song again. It gives the reason why a young guy should be happy. Karthik has sung it very well and his voice gives a youthful feel to the song. Yuvan’s high-pitched keyboard follows the singer throughout. It sounds good but at times disturbs the lyrics. The interludes are very good. This number is sure to linger in the minds of the listeners.

"I Hate You" gives out the lists as to why the lead pair hates each other. Ranjith and Vasundara Das have sung this song. It is tough to catch its lyrics and the tune is also not good followed by an abrupt finish. This number is just an average one.

"Egire Mabbulalona" is a fast song with high pitch and SP Charan has sung very well. The interludes have chorus and Violins with appropriate beat, which is impressive. Yuvan and his group must have enjoyed doing this number. Kulasekhar’s lyrics are also good with love theme. This number is a superb one.

"Nee Kosam" is a melancholy song with high pitch. It has beautiful lyrics and music, and Shankar has sung it beautifully. His swarnas in the interludes adds to the beauty of the song. This number is a wonderful piece of work and is sure to attract the listeners instantly.

On the whole, Yuvan has composed some beautiful numbers that will linger in the minds of the listeners. It would surely hit off well with the youths. Music lovers should not miss this number.
