‘Kalisunte’ is a Telugu version of Tamil film ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has come out with some peppy and youthful numbers for the album. He also has successfully introduced two new singers Maheeva and Anushka. The chorus and instruments are very impressive. The remix of the album also sounds great.

"Yera Yera" starts with the sound of chimes and then goes on to become a peppy and energetic song. Sujatha and Ranjit have sung the number so beautifully combined with sweet interludes. Sujata picks up the pitch perfectly. Yuvan seems to have a hangover of his earlier works but this song is peppy, original and soothing. This number has all the ingredients of becoming the best song of the album.

"Na Kallallo, Gundello" is a song with love theme and the guy’s emotion is depicted well in the rendition. It starts with a chorus in Arabic and the Arabic theme is maintained throughout the song. Violin has been used extensively in the intervals. Yuvan Shankar Raja himself has rendered the song well with good support from Nitish Gopal.

"Koncham Koncham" starts with singer Maheeva Kammat humming the tunes. It leads to a husky and slow rendition, which later gets into a peppy chorus. The fusion of these elements has made the song enjoyable. It is about the girl’s confusion on her love and likings. The restrained use of instruments with only piano and guitar suites the song. The continuous use of drums has added to the beauty of the number. This song is a good one and music lovers would love to listen to it again and again.

"Jil Jil Vana" is a fast and peppy number sung by Sathyan and Chinmayee. The lyrics tell that it is a rain song. There is nothing special in the tunes and even the instruments and chorus are average. You can give this song a pass.

Yuvan has successfully fused old song and new tunes in the song titled "Dheemthanaka Dheemthanaka". It seems to be a seductive number and sounds like a Hindi number. Anushka and Premji have sung it so beautifully. In fact, they have made all the difference to the song.

In nutshell, Yuva Shankar Raja has come out with some peppy numbers though the lyrics are a bit ordinary. "Yera Yera" and "Koncham Koncham" are the best songs. This is an enjoyable album.
