Get to the edge of thrill as ‘Ek Ajnabee’ brings Amitabh Bachchan doing action after a long time. Taking a break from the emotional roles he has done this year, this will be a kind of refreshing change for his fans too. Supporting him in the cast are Arjun Rampal , Perizaad Zorabian , Vikram Chatwal and Baby Rucha Vaidya. The film has been extensively shot in Bangkok within a very short span of time. It is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is produced by Bunty Walia.

The story reels about the life of Suryaveer Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) who considers himself a kind of oddball for the society. He has formerly served the army as a black commando and had to end his career owing to poor mental health the battles have fetched him. He lives his life on his own terms and doesn’t mind much the happenings around him, devoting most of his time drinking. Shekhar (Arjun Rampal) owns a security firm and invites his colleague Suryaveer to come over to Bangkok. Shekhar also assigns him the job of a bodyguard so that he can come out of the shell he has constricted himself in. Suryaveer discovers that he has to save the life of 8-year-old Anamika (Baby Rucha Vaidya), daughter of Ravi (Vikram Chatwal) and Nikasha (Perizaad Zorabian). He hesitatingly takes up the job. Soon like a ray of hope the smile of a little girl acts on him, and he starts searching for optimism in his life.

But the little thing gets kidnapped for a large ransom and Suryaveer again gets face to face with the emptiness of his life. Surfacing himself from the despair, he starts a hunt for the girl. He has the zeal to get her back and the passion to win. He searches for the way with his tact and goes to the heart of the scheme only to get something he had never imagined!

 Amitabh Bachchan and Arjun Rampal are in pivotal role in the film. The thrill and the performance are the strengths that the film has.  You’ll be moved to see Amitabh Bachchan live in action, handling the stunts all by himself without the aid of duplicates.
 
The supporting cast comprises of Kelly Dorjee, Dayashankar Pandey, Akhilendra Mishra, Aditya Lakhia, Denzil Smith and Raj Zutshi. Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and Lara Dutta feature in special appearance in the film. Music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and Sanjay Dutt has also sung a rap number for the film.
