Another high charged drama to make its rounds is producer-director Sunil Darshan’s latest presentation ‘Dosti’. Akin to the films made by Sunil, this one is also a film on relationship and love. Friendship, fun and love are the theme of the film. The story deals with a universal subject of friendship but is packaged differently. The loving bond of comradeship has been presented in an entertaining manner to highlight the special bond of the friends’ in the modern world.

‘Dosti’ is about two bosom friends Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol. They lead a great life in fun along with their girl friends Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta. The guys are ready to sacrifice their life for each other and the movie reels to show that. In a brief role Juhi Chawla will make an appearance.

Karan (Bobby Deol) and Raj (Akshay Kumar) weren’t the ‘made in heaven pair’ on earth. They were like two poles in regard to everything associated in their life. Karan was filthy rich and lived with his family in a palace like house. He could open his arms to fly in his charter whenever he wanted. But he craved for love. He threw himself out on girls and was a flirt. Still their lingered in his heart the feeling of loneliness.

Raj was very poor who lived on the roads. He didn’t have a family. But he had heart that was big and loved his lady too dearly. He never had family and was on a look out to make people his own.  

Karan and Raj came together in the light of friendship. The attachment that could never falter, the union that was unselfish and the friendship that stood against the odds. Karan gave Raj what he didn’t have - home and luxury. Raj returned it back with his love and strength. They were friends that the world would watch. Watch with envious eyes! People always popped up with the difference of status and money that existed between the two. Nothing could part them away, until one day something happened. What happens next, what do they do, does their friendship moves with strength or gives away?

Music being one of the highlights of this banner has been meticulously created. The hit team of Nadeem-Shravan and Sameer have been zeroed in to render beautiful and melodious tracks. The director is confident that the music will entice the audience and the film is sure to entertain them!
