The title of the film is trendy and catchy, and the star cast zippy and vibrant. This is the upcoming release of Vivek Oberoi, Ayesha Takia, Boman Irani and Mahima Chaudhary. ‘Home Delivery’ is all set to reach the theatres around you soon.

The story is about Sunny Malhotra (Vivek Oberoi), a young journalist working with a newspaper group. He is just 28, but is popular for the column appearing in his paper, Gyan Guru. He is of the view that he has established his destiny all by himself and thus lives on his own terms. He is also a prankster, frequent playing prank with the pizza delivery boys by convincing them that they are late and hence not paying for their pizza. Jenny (Ayesha Takia) is his fiancée, a god loving and a contended damsel. She loves Sunny wholeheartedly. Sunny is however self-centered and is skeptical about Jenny too. There is also a difference that draws them apart - Jenny is optimist while Sunny is a cynic. There is another optimistic man Michael Burnett (Boman Irani) a 51-year old man. He is jovial natured and effervescent and has recently landed him the job of a delivery boy at Mummy’s Pizza. He has till now lost all the jobs he has got within 2 days, but he swears that things will differ this time.

Maya (Mahima Chaudhary) is a South Indian superstar and Sunny happens to be a great fan of her. She has wooed many teenagers as an actress in her prime being a part of their fantasy.

In the meantime Sunny receives an offer from film director Karan Johar to write a script for him. It’s Diwali and he had too many things to do in a single day. He has to complete his screenplay within that day, he has to ward away his disastrous neighbor Wagle and also shun from his editor’s calls. And more importantly he doesn’t want Jenny with him for the day because he has a date with Maya. Maya wants to restore her glory and wants to get a break in Bollywood. And the way to it is Sunny, who is writing a prestigious screenplay for a film.

Jenny however has other plans. She wants Sunny to come over to her place for dinner and announce their marriage at the same time. With all this thing hovering around the head of Sunny he forgets to get food and orders for a pizza. Michael is the one who is to deliver it. Michael comes with the pizza and also many lessons for Sunny to learn.

‘Jhankaar Beats’ famed director Sujoy Ghosh turns to camera again with this film. The film is produced by Sahara One, Percept Picture Company. Others in the cast include Saurabh Shukla, Tikku Talsania, Victor Banerjee, Viju Khote, Rushita Pandit and Arif Zakaria. Karan Johar and Juhi Chawla are in the guest appearances in the film.
