‘Ghazini’ is a Tamil film dubbed into Telugu with the same title. There are lots of expectations on the film, as hit director Murugadoss directs it. Moreover, the original Tamil version of the film has done really well at the box office. So, the Telugu audience naturally looks forward to have a good time with the film. It is also said that the film is based on the Hollywood film titled ‘Memento’.
The story of the film is told in a simple manner yet with style and elegance. It is about a millionaire businessman who is all out to take revenge on the killer of his girlfriend. He sets out to kill girl-traffickers though he has a serious weakness. He suffers from short-term memory loss, and so, he can remember things only up to 15 minutes. So, how will he accomplish his mission? The creative imagination of director Murugadoss takes charge at this very juncture.
Hero of the film Surya has done a great job. He carries off his character as a rich businessman to a man trying to take revenge in spite of having memory loss with sheer elegance. Heroine Asin is like a fresh cool breeze on a sunny day. Her performance in the film is commendable. Nayantara also does her role as a medical researcher well.
Prathap Singh Ravath plays the role of a villain and there is suspense around his role. The music of the film by Harris Jeyaraj is excellent. He has proved his worth as a musician yet again. Director Murugadoss tells the story so beautifully and vividly. He seems to know how to reach the hearts of the audience. And Oscar Madhu has bought the rights of the film.
