Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal made the audience go mad in the non-stop laugh riot ‘Hera Pheri’. This makes their forthcoming release ‘Deewane Huey Paagal’ one of the most awaited film in November. Joining them in this madcap comedy is Shahid Kapur and Rimii Sen. The film is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and is directed by Vikram Bhatt. Doing the music composition is Anu Malik with lyrics by Sameer. Music of Firoz Nadiadwala movies had only been average so far. Let’s check out what he brings for us with this film.

‘Deewane Huye Paagal’ is the album with which composer Anu Malik is launching himself as a full-fledged singer. So far he had just sung one or two tracks for an album. This time he comes with a big surprise as he renders 6 songs out of the eight in the soundtrack. He starts his innings with ‘Maar Sutiya’. A solid and fast paced song, you’re sure to get bowled by it. The number will soar up the charts in the days to come and also heat the dance floor. At the end of the song be sure catch your breath. A number preferably for the youths to enjoy.

After roaring away with the last number, Anu eases his vocals with ‘Meri Jaane Jigar’. A soft and sugary track, it’ll act as syrup to your ears. This mushy romantic track has the base and style of music that is catching the pulse currently. After Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik is also in for quite a singing, posing as a threat to other singers.  A lovely number that is also sure to move to the charts soon. Sure to get popular!

Moving with the trend of fast and catchy music, that is the current in thing in Hindi film music we have ‘Tu Hai Tu Hai’. Anu Malik assigns the song to Shaan and Sunidhi Chauhan. A vintage romantic melodious number of Anu, this song has all the elements that will make you fall in love with it. Another pacy, fun filled and entertaining number to keep the album going. Good work done!

Anu Malik turns to mike for the next number ‘Sutradhar Part I’ and ‘Sutradhar Part II’. The song is more of a recitation in hip style music. The track acts as a peep into the film, as Anu Malik goes in length to introduce the people and situation to us. The music is of international standard. One can gauge the impact of the track with this itself!

Hammering loud beats to your ear comes ‘Chakle Chakle’. Anu Malik gears up with the song to leave the listeners ending up at the dance floors. Rock, roll and shake with this funky track. This is also another potential number that is going to click with the young crowd. There is also a ‘Remix’ of the track following later.

A mix that is going to add to the tango is ‘Aisi Umar Mein’. Sung by Shaan, Kunal Ganjawala and Krishna this is another potboiler. The striking fact of the track is that it is a mix of different style and diverse kind of music. Melody and rhythm again at the forefront, this is an enjoyable track with sumptuous entertainment that leaves you happy at the end. Let the entertainment go non-stop for 11 minutes!

‘Deewane Huye Paagal’ is a catcher and a sure shot winner. Following the general trend of music, this is one number that is going to find its place amongst the Gen X and the masses. The classy and the purist can better stay away from it, for what Anu has offered isn’t their cup of tea. With the music rocking all the way, ‘Deewane Huye Paagal’ has already created the interest for the film. Firoz Nadiadwala at last comes up with an album that will score heavily with the listeners and score good results for him too. With his song cinematography always a highlight of his film, this one is going to drive all crazy!
