Movie Review : Ambuttu Imbuttu Embuttu

Director: Ashok
Cast: Ashok, Ashwini, Vinaya Prasad, Sudheesh, Crane Manohar
Music: Dhina

The film is based on William Shakespeare’s novel ‘Comedy Of Errors’. Director Ashok has left no stones unturned. He has indeed made this comic flick so beautifully. The story takes its base from the saying that seven people in this world have the same look. So, when two persons of same appearance land in the same place, situation would be absurd and funny too.

One character is from a wealthy family while the other is a thief. There is chaos and confusion when the one from Coimbatore lands Palakkad. The director has handled the comical situations very well and has a touch of originality too. He has cunningly added songs with glamour to the film.

Ashok is very comfortable in front of the camera, though he was doubling up as an actor. He deserves all the praises and applause for his sincere attempt and doing his part very well. On the whole, the film has come out as planned.
