Director Perarasu and actor Vijay are looking forward to repeat the success of ‘Tirupachy’ with their Diwali release ‘Sivakasi’. Vijay is confident that the film would do well. This action-packed entertainer has actress Asin opposite Vijay and Prakashraj playing the villain. The duel and conversation between the brothers Prakashraj and Vijay would be the highlight of the film, with both the siblings digging out all their reserves. The film seems to have shaped up well so far.

In the film, Vijay plays the role of an electric welder from Sivakasi. He comes to Chennai for his livelihood. All the happenings are confined to Ranganthan Street as per the script of the film. The quality aspect of the film is well looked into.

A M Ratnam produces the film with Srikanth Deva scoring the music and yesteryear actress Geetha donning the role of Vijay’s mother. The film is making lots of hype as of now.
