Malluwood audience is expecting a lot from ‘Anandabhadram’. Their eagerness is even more, as serious filmmaker Santosh Sivan is directing the film. Unlike the current formulaic and commercial films, Santosh is venturing into the world of black magic and witchcraft. It is a psycho thriller with otherworldly ideas and bewitching kind of charm.

It’s indeed a right platform for hero Prithviraj to prove that he deserves a place at the top. Kavya Madhavan plays his ladylove in the film. The on-screen chemistry of the pair shows that they are comfortable working together. Manoj K Jeyan’s wonderful performance as a black magic practitioner would be the highlight of the film. He is expected to look splendid in performing the craft. He looks terrifying in the promos.

Like other Santosh Sivan’s films, this film too is expected to have good technical work. M G Radhakrishnan’s music is another strong point of the film. The director is said to have insisted in having him as the music director. And Radhakrishnan did not let him down. The songs are captivating and brilliantly shot too. The director is very happy on the outcome of the audio.

Manian Pilla Raju, Ajaychandran Nair and Raghuchandran Nair produced the film. It is scheduled for release on Ramzan.
