‘Political Rowdy’ could be the right film for Mohan Babu to make a comeback after the failure of his last film. This film match the actor’s age and image. There is humor all through the film. It is indeed a dutiful remake of Tamil hit film ‘Adi Thadi’.

The film is about an ageing don falling in love with a much younger girl. The don loves her very much but the girl is in love with a much younger man. The whole affair is a bit of a silly game and is told with tongue-in-check. The film revolves round on how the old man tries to look young in order to impress the young pretty girl. He even calls his estranged brother to arrange him for the romance. There is lots of fun in the whole affair.

Mohan Babu must have enjoyed playing the role, as it fits his real life image. Charmi also plays a young girl who is caught up in a committed but misplaced love. Tanikella Bharani plays Mohan’s uncle and Ali (Cylinder) is his assistant in the film. Venu Madhav (Blade) plays a caretaker and Sunil also play an important role in the film. Prakash Raj and Sayaji Shinde are also there to add some fun to the film.

Director of the film Aadi is yet to make a niche for himself. But he should have convinced the actor that he is capable to doing good films. So, the confidence in them should work in their favor. The music of the film by Sandeep Chowtha is expected to storm the market hard. The film is scheduled for release in September.
