Looks like hero Rajashekar is heading for another failure when he badly needs a hit. His latest film 'Nayakudu'; a remake from Malayalam film ‘Runway’ is nothing but a bore. Weak script, narration and direction make the film a mediocre one. It literally becomes difficult for the audience to sit through the whole movie.
Raju (Rajashekar) sets off for Dubai to save his family from debt. But he lands up in alcohol business in a nearby village without the knowledge of his family. He changes his name to Sambha Shiva and becomes ‘spirit king’. The story takes a twist when his brother (Riyaj Khan) is deputed to deal with the smugglers of spirit. The rest of the story deals on how Sambha Shiva teaches lesson to all the bad guys in the spirit business and comes out of it with a clean image.
It’s like the film is made to test the patience of the audience. The lethargic narration of director Kodi Ramakrishna makes it like a street drama. There is not a single good shot in the film. There is nothing special about Rajashekar too. The heroine of the film Namitha looks fat and her character is also a simple one. Riyaj Khan’s role as a cop is fine but Rami Reddy looks nervous and weak. On the whole, there is nothing worth to watch.
