Director Jaganji is not going down. He is back with a film titled ‘Kodambakkam’ after his film ‘Puthiya Geethai’ failed terribly a couple of years ago. The film is about the obstacles and problems faced by hundreds of aspiring directors living in Kodambakkam, which is considered the base of Kollywood.

Actors Nanda, Diya and Tejashree play the lead roles in the film. Nada plays the role of an assistant director in the film. He said that doing the role of a director is challenging and also revealed that he just imitated Jaganji while doing the character.

The film also has other actors like Manivannan, Muthukalai,Ramesh Kanna and Manobala. Jaganji's mentor director Cheran also plays a small role in the film. Music director Sirpy also has done some good music. Pop singer Ceylon Manohar and Jassy Gift have their melodious voice.

The film indeed brings out the problems faced in the film industry in a positive way. The director said that the film should get recognition from the audience. The theme of the film looks promising. It would do well if the treatment is good.
