To the string of comedies that is absolute David Dhawan style, here is another addition. There are some veritable differences that come to the forefront regarding the director’s alterations in style with his films now. He discontinues his tryst with the number 1 and starts afresh with Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, a full-length name. Apart from this veritable difference, Govinda his favourite and the redeemable star in all his films is absent from the frame.

After a brief break, David Dhawan tasted success again with Mujhse Shaadi Karogi that released last year. This year he presents another film in the same vein. And the bottom line is laughter, laughter and more laughter!

Sohail Khan Production produces the film under Shree Asthavinayak Cine Vision banner. Playing the lead are Salman Khan once again, alongwith his beau Katrina Kaif and brother Sohail Khan, Sushmita Sen and Arshad Warsi.

Samir (Salman Khan) is a combo of dashing looks and attractive personality and he also happens to be a skillful orthopedic doctor. He tries and fixes the bones and fractures, but to treat female hearts he crushes, is out of his limits. What can the poor soul do about those ladies who go gaga over him! His female patients can hardly resist his charm and he enjoys what his looks can behold. But to get into a long term relationship is out of his mind. His only way of rubbing them away is to confess that he is married, though he is not.

The only woman, who keeps away from him, is his beautiful and dutiful nurse Naina (Sushmita Sen). She doesn’t bother with his affairs and lies and in true term is obsessed with her work.

His flirting spree continues until he meets Sonia (Katrina Kaif). Samir fails to escape from her sheer beauty and charm. Underneath she is a stubborn spoilt young lady who gets what she wants. Otherwise suicide! Samir proposes her to marry him. And the damsel doesn’t have a problem though she wishes to meet his wife before they wed.

Samir is stuck for he has no wife. Long continues the heap of lies.  Naina stands beside him through the hour. But things aren’t as easy, for Pyaare (Sohail Khan) woos Sonia and continuously lead Samir for a pitfall. Vicky (Arshad Warsi) Samir’s brother in arms, his fake patient Thapa (Rajpal Yadav) also contributes in his lies.

It’s likely to be the chill pill this summer!
