Something’s get better with time. Kamal Hassan proves that. Mumbai Express is his forthcoming film against Manisha Koirala. Apart from playing the male lead, he does the story, screenplay, dialogues and produces it under his banner Rajkamal Films International. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao directs the film who had formerly done Pesum Padam, Aboorva Sagodharargal, Michael Madana Kamarajan, and Magalir Mattum with Kamal Hassan. C.Kausalendra Rao and Hari Gopala Krishna are joint producers. The film is presented by Cherukuri Ramesh.

The focus rests on the fast paced life of metro like Mumbai. It’s estimated to be a hilarious comedy with Kamal playing the role of Avinasi. Likewise the shooting has taken place in Mumbai. The film will appear in both Tamil and Hindi versions.

Others in the cast include Nazar, Ramesh Aravind Pasupathi, Santaana Bharati, Vayaapuri and Sharath Saxena. The Hindi version will have Om Puri, Mahesh Manjrekar, Saurabh Shukla, Vijayraj and Sharat Saxena in the supporting cast. Ilayaraja has composed the music with cinematography by Sidharth, sets by Samir Chanda, editing by Ashmit Kunder and stunt choreography by Vikram Dharma. The movie will reach completion by January.
