Story- 'Pandippada' is the story of Bhuvanachandran and Bhasi, two Malayalis who arrive at Karivelankaadu, a village in Tamilnadu. Both had tried to run all sorts of businesses when they were in Kerala but, everything was a disaster. It was Bhasi who came to the tiny village first.

Karivelankaadu is an agriculture-based village. Bhasi and Bhanuchandar try to start a business related to agriculture. That doesn't work either. All the agricultural lands in the village are held by two landlords- Pandidurai and Karuppaiyah. Karuppaiyah has a flashback story about how he had acquired the land.

Pandidurai has an army of henchmen who are ready to do anything for him. Bhanu and Bhasi join the gang. Then, during the local temple festival, Bhanu runs into Meena and falls in love with her only to find out later that she is the daughter of Karuppaiyah...
