Tarun and Aarti Agarwal work together again under the banner of Suresh Productions after ‘Neeku Nenu Naaku Nuvvu’. Tarun’s films have always carried good music. For this film Chakri has tuned the scores. He has been delivering quality stuff and so expectations wrap the audio. The lyrics are by Bhaskara Bhatla. The music is specially targeted for the young people. Some good numbers give this romantic film the added dimension.
'Current Shock'! Not to worry, this is the name of the first track of this album. The song may create a rage amongst the masses, but quality wise there is nothing to hold onto. A pretty hackneyed stuff in regard to the lyrics and music. The music is loud and soggy not really gelling with the film of a romantic genre. Chakri and Ravi Varma wield the mike. All the elements are pretty average to write anything about.
Following is 'Sneham'. This is better than the former one. The rhythm is catchy and you enjoy hearing the track. Though the song has Rehman touch and feel, Chakri doesn’t disappoint.
'Madhu Masam' a romantic and melodious song is the pick of the day. There is much to say in regard of the melody that is harmonious, and the instrumentation that is splendid. Though the lyrics are pretty run of the mill kind, yet we don’t mind. Many will appreciate this song.
One more good song credited to the soundtrack is 'Yehhada Undhoganee'. In terms of the rhythm, this is another sure winner. Karthik and Kousalya passes muster with their voices, giving the edge to the song.
'Kaliki Chilaka' is quite a quixotic number in the honeyed vocals of Karthik. He has excelled with such numbers and appears superlative here too. With the tint of expression in his voice, there is no chance he can ever falter. Atleast for now, it seems so.
Loud music takes its toll again with 'Yepatikappudu'. The song has Chakri stamp all over it. Chakri croons the lead accompanied by Sudha. The orchestration is good with guitar, interludes and percussion.
'Premicha Ninne' is a foot tapping a groovy track sung by Kausalya and Venu. The rendition is fine and gives out the desired effect perfectly. Though the song is a romantic number, yet the loud flowing music makes it distinguishable.
'Kokkorokko' is the last song of the sound track. There is pacy rhythm and tempo to keep one engrossed. Tippu and Kavitha Krishnamurthy give a quality rendition. The melody is fine and Chakri deserves all the applause for this track.
There is something for everyone in the sound track. It’s a mixed bag with the intention to satisfy everybody. But it’s also a mixed bag of seedy and some likeable stuff. For a romantic film, its not clear if such repertoire of music will be appreciated by many.
