Mohanlal (Bharat Pisharady) is a Sanskrit Professor, whose marriage has been fixed with Padmapriya (Mira). Padmapriya is also his student. The date is fixed and the arrangement is made when the news is received that Pishardy is missing. The rest of the plot revolves around the suspense.

The film has been shot in locations like in Haridwar- Rishikesh- Puri and Kanhangad in Kerala. Ravindran has given the music for the movie.
