Once in a while comes a movie that leaves you pondering, either about the title or theme or star cast. Bullet-Ek Dhamaka really fits the bill in all aspect. It’s said to be a masala flick or rather an International flick to be presented by 20th Century Fox. The film is directed by Irfan Khan and produced by Asad Sikandar. The star cast is deviant too with Asad Sikandar, debutant Aseem Merchant, Iqbal Khan, Saadhika, Natalia and Rosy. Whatever the good will of the movie be, Irfan Khan the director seems to be coming with glamorized appeal with an International look for the Indian audience.

Asad Sikandar who plays an important character in this movie is an action-master who has done Hollywood films like Hill and Hot Target. This James Bond styled film talks about the issues of terrorism more than anything else. Raja Don (Aseem Merchant) is actually a poverty laden and downtrodden guy. When he grows up he joins force but is like a black patch on the name of the police. He turns into underworld don. Iqbal Khan is a cop and intelligence officer who is invested with the task to arrest Raja Don back to India.

He gets the information about Raja Don who is operating from Sofia (Bulgaria). The baddie’s next mission is to create chaos in India on Republic Day. But Iqbal’s boss doesn’t permit him to go. So he resigns from the job. His task is invested to secret agent Sasha. There Sasha meets Asad (Asad Sikander) a Kashmir terrorist and makes him realise the destruction he is going to infuse killing the life of innocent people. But Raja Don realizes Asad’s transformation. Before the terrorist can harm him, he plays a game with him.
