Movie Preview : Naa Alludu (2004)

Producer: Changala Venkat Rao
Director: B Gopal
Cast: NTR, Ramya Krishna, Shriya, Genelia, Suman, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sarath Babu, Brahmanandam

Just like that, movies revolving a virtuous son-in-law and devious mother-in-law are made at regular intervals in Telegu movies. The dish is same, only it has been served in a different plate this time. ‘Naa Alludu’ by director B Gopal is another such movie with more spice in the frame. NTR Jr, the son-in-law does his part by making sexual implication at his mother-in-law Ramya Krishna, through comments under the guise of humor and comedy. Well, if the mother-in-law happens to be Ramya Krishna, who wouldn’t?

The role doesn’t promise anything substantial on the part of NTR Jr, for he had played son-in-law formerly against Nagma. But he is expectantly hoping for stardom with this movie. Other than taking on his mother-in-law with vulgar dialogues, he dances some splendid steps with Shriya and Genelia, the other two heroines in the movie. The songs numbers are usual but his fans can pile up a good time.

Produced under Changala Venkat Rao, ‘Naa Alludu’ is targeted for mass entertainment. In simple words, ‘Naa Alludu’ is a fun-filled mad potboiler of in-law vs. in-law. It is a big budget movie and expected to be released during Sankranti.
