He doesn’t have the guts to tell his family about his three years old affair with a catholic girl Karen either. On persuasion he agrees to meet Aditi (Ayesha Takia). All want them to get married as their caste, family, status and horoscope matches. But Viren tells Aditi in private that he cannot marry her as he is seeing another girl. So both of them decide that Viren will refuse to marry Aditi in front of everyone. This decision leads to ego hassles and fights between both the families.

Viren proposes marriage to Karen and she agrees to it. He convinces her parents but is unable to make his parents agree to marry a Catholic girl. In this chaos and tension it is Aditi who comes as a respite to him. They keep meeting each other often and develop a likeness. What they like about each other is that they can be their self without any pretension when they are together. And despite their not wanting to meet each other they keep meeting up.  And one fine day Viren realizes that he is in love with Aditi. But the problem now is that Viren’s family had agreed to accept Karen as their daughter-in-law. What will Viren do now?
