Nigehbaan starring Sameer Dharmadhikari and Sandali Sinha is a romantic action-paced film. The film is produced by Shantilal Bokadia and directed by Dilip Shankar. With the cast and crew belonging to the unfamiliar and infamous category, the prospect of the film is at halt. The only savior at hand is music director Himesh Reshammiya who has composed the music for the film. Sameer pens the lyrics. Let’s check out what the melody holds!
Impression takes its toll from the first track itself. ‘Shaayar Shaayar’ by Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghoshal promises sheer comfort. Entwined with quality vocals and fine lyrics this romantic track is a fine start. The song has repeat value and will hold onto you for quite sometime.
Veteran Himesh style is ‘Ki Kara Main’. But this is a good track and the tried and tested method of the composer impresses again. Kunal Ganjawala and Hema Sardesai enrich and enliven this Punjabi styled song. The western music keeps up the liveliness. There is again a solo repeat of the track by Kunal Ganjawala. We don’t mind it!
An item number in the audio is a must nowadays. This also has one. ‘Vaada Yeh’ is a situational item number sung by Alka Yagnik. The track passes muster and is nothing to look at.
The soundtrack comes to a close with an efficient melodic tune ‘Poocha Naa Kya Hoti Hai’. The honeyed vocals of Pankaj Udhas and a good tune by Himesh makes it a pleasant affair. This ghazal styled song should go down well. The lyrics and the voice of Pankaj Udhas are the forte of the track.
Himesh Reshammiya has surpassed the expectation in terms of the music of the film. He has made the music of this unheard film, worth a listen. The music is definitely one of the strength of the film.
