‘Chehra’ is a movie directed by Saurabh Shukla. The story is of a psychologically unwell person. Bipasha Basu plays this role. Other than her this movie also stars Irrfan Khan, Dino Morea, Preeti Jhangiani, Navni Parihaar, Govind Namdeo and Rajat Kapoor.

Aakash [Dino Morea] and Megha [Bipasha Basu] study in the same college. The two fall in love and decide to marry. But could not. Life separates them. Akash becomes a psychiatrist and Megha is the wife of a business magnate Chandra Diwan [Irrfan].

Five years later Akash meets Megha in his hospital. Her husband believes that Megha is not of sound mind. So she is here in this hospital. Akash is in charge of her treatment. Megha’s problem is that she always feels that someone is out to kill her.  But she doesn’t have a clue about the motive of the assassin. 

Akash checks her background. Megha had a very disturbing childhood. Her father was an alcoholic and a wife- beater. He would come home drunk and physically abuse his wife. Megha could not stand her mother’s pain. So she had killed her father in a fit of fury.

Akash and Megha become friends again. He assures Megha that nothing will happen to her when he is around. He saves her many a time from murder attempts. He soon realizes that it is not Megha’s imagination. He calls Megha’s husband Chandra and explains her condition to him. He advises Chandra to take some days off from work and go out with Megha. He readily agrees. He also invites Akash and Reena (Preeti Jhangiani).

They all set off to Dubai for a holiday. There also some one tries to kill Megha. But during their stay in Dubai Akash comes to know about the man who wants to kill Megha.

This movie is a suspense thriller. Dilkhush Doshi is the producer of the movie. Anu Malik along with a battalion of other composers like Nikhil- vinay, Naresh Sharma, Ram Sampat and Nikhil Chinnappa- compose the music of this film. This interesting story is the brainchild of the director Saurabh Shukla. Fuwad Khan is the cinematographer. Abbas Ali Moghul and Allan Amin directs the actions scenes.
