Tara (Sanjay Dutt) and Sitara (Govinda) are two small town street thugs. They take life as it comes, always upto some prank or the other. During a police chase, they happen to shoot one of the biggest criminals of the nation, Cobra (Ashish Vidhyarthi) in order to escape. Tara and Sitara manage to escape but Cobra gets arrested and vows to take revenge from them. Now Tara and Sitara are on the run but have the police as well as Cobra after their lives and they decide that the only way out is to cross the Nepal border and live peacefully forever.

Cobra’s brother Panther (Gulshan Grover) who was arrested by Maj. RamSingh (Jackie Shroff) (BSF Officer) has the code to the Nation Destroying gun stolen by them and Cobra has to get him out. Tara and Sitara also feel that Ram Singh is the only person who can help them cross the border. They give a sob story to his family and find their way into Ramsingh’s house and in turn into the hearts of his family. They fall in love with Ram Singh’s daughter (Nandini) and her friend (Amrita Arora).

When Cobra gets to know about Tara and Sitara’s whereabouts, he plans to use them to get his brother out. He kidnaps their mother, reaches Ram Singh’s house under the guise of a relative and blackmails Tara and Sitara into getting Panther out.

How these two small criminals are now trapped in a catch -22 situation that could escalate into world terrorism brings loads of exciting moments in their life where they have no go but to fight it out as soldiers.

Will they be able to save their mother? If yes, then will they cheat on RamSingh and his family and break their trust? Or will they support Maj. Ramsingh to save the nation from the attacks of dangerous criminals Cobra and Panther?...

They decide to flow with the situation as it comes and prove to be good human beings to themselves as well as to Ramsingh and his family. And are finally rewarded.
