David Dhawan- Govinda –Sanjay Dutt team gets the dream chance of their life. The showman of the movie industry Subhash Ghai produces their new comedy flick’ Ek Aur Ek Gyarah’. Shankar- Ehsan- Loy does the music. Sameer is the lyricist.

It is a welcome change for the ‘badshaas’ of comedy. Currently all of them are going through a difficult phase in their career. With Shankar- Ehsan- Loy in charge of the musical department we can be rest assured of the quality of the music.

The opening track ‘Beimaan Mohabbat’ gives the album a nice start. It’s a ‘pucca’ Govinda number in the voice of KK, Shankar Mahadevan and Gayathri. The singer trio breathes life to this composition with their energetic rendition.

Udit Narayan, Sneha Pant and Shankar croon this simple song ‘Main Jogia’. We can visualize Govinda dancing to this number. This lively track sounds good.

Then comes a soft romantic number picturised on Govinda and Amrita Arora.  Udit Narayan and Sneha Pant render this song ‘Thoda Sona Ka Rang’. This is a cakewalk for the veteran singer Udit Narayan.  Sneha Pant rises up to the occasion and comes out with a perfect rendition.

Through this song Sonu Nigam and Shankar Mahadevan try to explain the title one plus one eleven. This title song ‘Ek Aur Ek Gyarah’ is one of the best tracks in this album. The tune is so catchy that you involuntarily start shaking your legs. Shankar and Sonu are in full swing through out the song.

‘Dushmana’ is a typical David Dhawan movie track. Soumya Raoh and Sonu Nigam croon this number. It boasts of a nice, captivating rhythm.

Next in line is a soft and sweet folk based song in the voice of Abhijeet and Babul Supriyo. ‘Yeh Man Mera’ is a situational track in the mode of ‘Radha Kaise Na Jale’ from ‘Lagan’.

Title song comes again at the end of this album. The first one is a sad version of the song in the voice of Udit Narayan and Shankar Mahadevan. Next one has Shankar teaming up with Sonu.

On the whole this album is a nice try by the talented music director trio Shankar- Ehsan – Loy. It is a good buy for the Govinda fans.
