Human being is expanding the horizon through the legacy of its brain.  Innovations and technology has incurred a rapid growth due to it. But one innovation that has taken man to the stature of god is human cloning. In the film, Siddharth Sardesai (Aftab Shivdasani) is a scientist from Indian Medical Research center and is a student of Guru Dr. Krishnan (Paresh Rawal). His ambition is to create human clones in the science lab. He believes the possibility of the mission will take the world away by storm and will benefit humans.

Though he has been experimenting for some time, he is still to attain success. He had to compromise his colleague and friend in the process. But he still feels that he will succeed. However such kind of experimentation is not without issues. Inspector Rathod (Rahul Dev) disapproves whatever Siddharth is doing. His project gets halted for permission being denied to him to execute the experiment further. Aditi (Bipasha Basu) his girlfriend tries to rebuild his aspirations. She promises him some help through her father Mr Chopra (Tinu Anand) an industrialist with some financial aid to carry on with his work. Siddharth after much persuasion agrees to the offer.

With the capitation he builds his indigenous lab in an old burnt mill and carries on with his experimentation. Inspector Rathod smelling something fishy on Siddharth’s sudden disappearance starts tracking him down. Siddharth doesn’t have a way out and he starts cloning himself. He succeeds but in mayhem he misplaces his clone. Siddharth finds himself behind the bars for assault a girl (Maria Goretti). It doesn’t take long for him to realise that it’s the clone who is doing it all. But he doesn’t have a way to prove his point, as nobody believes him.

The clone wants to take the life of his creator Siddharth. He starts playing with Dr. Krishnan’s daughter Suchitra (Preeti Jhangiani) and kills Dr. Krishnan. Siddharth is held captive for the act. The path to his freedom is not easy. He has to destruct his own creation to prove himself.
