Stuck in the box for a long time this Suneel Darshan movie is finally ready to see the light. Nadeem-Shravan’s melodious tracks are the highlight of the movie. It may not be instantly catchy, but after a number of listening it tends to grow on you. Sameer pens the lyrics.

As expected the album begins with a nice romantic song ‘Dil Lagane Ki Saza’. Nadeem –Shravan’s favorite singer pair Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik full- heartedly render this love duet. The lively and cheerful music captures our heart at the first listening itself. Overall this song is a definite contender for the first place in the chartbuster list.

Alka Yagnik teams up with Udit Narayan for ‘Mohabbat Ne Mohabbat Ko’. The passionate rendition of Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik infuse life into this love duet. Music is typical Nadeem-Shravan with the usual dholak and jhankar beats. Full marks should go to the singers for lifting this track to a new level.

‘Ek Dil Hai’ is the best song of the album. Alka Yagnik starts the track with bare minimal musical accompaniment. Kumar Sanu joins her half way through the song. As the song goes on, Shehnai enters and takes the center stage. The music and rendition perfectly complement each other. This slow moving track is definitely going to find a place in the hearts of the romantic music lovers.

Mohd.Rafi clone Mohd. Aziz makes his come back with ‘Hum Khush Hue’. He sings for Amitabh Bachan. This music is the one used for the promotion of the movie. Kumar Sanu begins the song and later Alka Yagnik, debutant Sarika and Mohd.Aziz join him one after another. A nicely composed song this talks about the need of love and unity in the family. Good to hear Nadeem- Shravan’s soft and ear pleasing music.

A brisk and lively track ‘Dil Deewana Dhoonta Hai’ follows the mellow number. Once again Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik comes behind the mike for this song. With its catchy tune and energetic music this song hooks you at the first hearing itself. Lyrically it has nothing great to offer. But it is the high-spirited rendition of the seasoned vocalists that takes the song to a musically higher plane. It reminds you of the Jatin-Lalit composition ‘Ladka Bada Anjaana Hai’ from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

‘Ek Raja Ek Rani’ fails to impress the audience. Mohd. Aziz, Anuradha Paudwal, Sarika Kapoor and Milind lend their voice to this track. The music once again falls into the typical Nadeem-Shravan mode. Dholak and jhankar beats complete the background orchestration. Anuradha Paudwal sounds unenthusiastic while Sarika Kapoor does her best to entertain. Milind comes in for a few lines. So, there is nothing much to talk about his singing. Mohd.Aziz is the star of the show. He sings with all his heart even then the song fails to go down well with the music lovers. While listening to the song you may feel three different male voices. But the album cover gives credit to these two singers only.

Now let us go to the other version of this song. It is a short and sad version of the same song with a slight difference in lyrics. With its soft and melancholic music ‘Aur Kya Zindagani Hai’ move you to tears. Sameer’s lyrics too need a special mention. They are poetically beautiful and at the same time they enhance the intensity of track.

The mood once again gets livelier and swifter with ‘Mulaquat’. Alka Yagnik holds the mike for this track. The way the refrain ‘Aaiye Humse Mulaqat Kijiye’ is crooned makes a whole lot of a difference to this track. It makes for an interesting hear. Though the instruments used are the same, it is the ingenious arrangement that adds the required amount of pep and spice to this track. Alka Yagnik with her sweet and soft voice sounds a bit mellow here. But she calls in all her experience and comes out winner in the end.

The instrumental version of ‘Dil Lagaane Ki’ wraps up the album. There is nothing much to talk about this track. Musically it sounds no different from other Nadeem-Shravan tracks.

By and large this album gives you a lot to enjoy. Music may not be great. But it really soothes your heart. So go for this album and grab your copy soon.
