Director Jayaraj, producer Johny Sagarika and cinematographer RD Rajshekar were present at the audio release of 4 Students.

Jayaraj has so far directed over 20 Malayalam films and is known for his classical movies like Deshadanam and Kaliyattam. He has also won the national award for the best direction. Speaking about his film getting ready for release in Tamil, he said, “I have been wanting to direct a Tamil film for a long time and now finally my dream is materialising with the release of 4 Students.”

The film is about four-college students who run a website ‘4 The People’. Anybody who keys in tales of atrocities or reports of corruption gets justice from the four students who are incognito. Riding mobikes and wearing helmets, these youth strike terror in the hearts of the corrupt. The fight does not end with corruption but even reaches out to those indulging in domestic violence. The film ends with the four students getting nabbed by a sleuth but more students come forward to take up the mission. The film created unprecedented response in the box-office. The audio was an instant hit. The Tamil viewers will recognise Boys fame Bharat, as one of the protagonists while Gopika of Autograph fame and Pranathi of Gamberam are the two heroines.

Cinematographer Rajashekar, who shot to fame cranking the camera for Minnale and Khaakha Khaakha, said, “I gave my best to the film. Especially shooting ‘Lajjawathy ...’ was a great experience.

With editing by Anthony, lyrics by Palani Bharathy and N Muthukumar and dialogues by Gokula Krishna, the movie will be released by July end, said Johny Sagarika.
