Ravi Naik (Suneil Shetty) is a poor widower with an 11-year-old son Rohan (Mayank Tandon). Now all would be fine between the father and son, but Ravi want’s to make his son a great athlete and win the national championship in the All India Inter-School Meet. To achieve this goal, Ravi adopts an intensive training routine almost military in attitude, which is not acceptable by the 11-year-old.

Another character to this story is the next-door neighbour Antara (Neha). Antara is a young widow who stays with her mother-in-law, Kiron Kher. They share a close bond, as the older woman is like a mother to the younger. Antara is attracted to little Rohan and in the course of the she falls in love with his father.

Now the new twist of the story. Just prior to the finals, Rohan meets with an accident crushing the dreams of his father. However Rohan runs the race with a bleeding leg much against doctors and everybody else’s advise because he wants to see his father happy.
