An entertainer Kuthu is being directed by A Venkatesh. He has joined hands with Silambarasan and it is produced by Amudha Durairaj.

Srikanth Deva, son of music director Deva has scored the music and the lyrics are by Vaali, Palani Bharathy, Snehan, Pa Vijay and Kalai Kumar. Stunts by Super Subbarayan and choreography by Shiva Shankar, Prasanna, Ashok Rajan and Robert. Venkatesh has cranked the camera, while editing is by V T Vijayan. The entire movie has been completed and would be released in April.

Silambarasan is currently working in a movie (Manmathan). Apart from playing the lead, he has written the story and screenplay for the film. A debutant Murugan is wielding the megaphone. Jyothika is the leading lady, while 12 Mumbai models are also in the cast.
