The film is a look into their transformation, their conflict and their connections with each other. All of them are different individuals but there is one thing that is common in all three of them. ‘Yuva’ is a tale about their life, families and relationships.

Michael Mukherjee (Ajay Devgan) is invited to America to pursue his PhD under Nobel laureate Weinberg. But he drops the idea and prefers to stay back in India because he believes that situation here needs him more. An angry and hot-blooded youth, Michael cannot bear injustice. Radhika (Esha Deol) plays his love, who teaches French and studies politics and is keen on marrying him. Michael wants to be with her but he doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage.

Arjun Balakrishnan (Vivek Oberoi) is a youthful and lightheaded engineer who wants to go to US to pursue his career. He lives life fully and has sworn never to get tied up with a girl. But with Mira (Kareena Kapoor) whom he meets at the discotheque his notion changes. He plans of marrying her and settling down in India itself.

Lallan (Abhishek Bachchan) is not easy to describe. He is not what he looks and he is a very complex and deceptive self. He has grown up in the streets of Calcutta and has got used to life like that. He knows that everything he wants in life he can get it only through violence. His wife Sashi (Rani Mukerjee) tries to reform him but in vain!

Life for all the three characters changes with their part of victory and failures, struggle and pleasure. The film has music by whiz kid A R Rahman and the scores are impressive.

‘Yuva’ will get a worldwide release on May 21
