Can you accept a girl in your family who is by profession a sex- worker? Can you consider this as any other profession?  What will be your first reaction when you come to know that someone in your family or close family circle is going to marry a sex worker?

The movie ‘Julie’ shows a man who is ready to take a sex- worker in to his life. And a high society sex worker who shows the courage to come on air and confess her profession. Can our audience relate to this subject is another matter.

A popular TV channel invites Mihir Shandilya (Priyanshu Chatterjee), a young and single multi- millionaire, to one of their chat show. The host of the show asks him to talk about his life, success and future plans. Mihir readily agrees and during the course of the interview he confesses about his love for a girl Julie (Neha Dhupia). Then the channel invites both Mihir and Julie to come on another episode of the same show.

Julie is a sex- worker. Mihir and his family are unaware of this. Now as Mihir has professed his undying love for her Julie feels that it is her duty to reveal the truth about her.

Mihir is out of town on a business tour. That time Julie comes on air and confesses about her profession. When Mihir comes back from the tour this story awaits him at the airport itself. He comes to know that Julie had confessed about her profession publicly. At first he is shocked. Then he comes on air along with Julie and asks the permission of the public and his family members to be with Julie forever. Julie is bowled over by Mihir’s unselfish love. Then everything falls in to its place.

This is a very bold theme. Deepak Shivdassani writes this story while Sanjay Pawar writes the dialogues. Himesh Reshammiyya is the music director. Sameer pens down the lyrics.
