Hyderabad Blues 2 starts where its prequel ends. As the title says this is about the re- arranging of Varun and Ashwani’s marriage. But what causes the rearrangement? It is the simple and silly question friends and relatives throws at any married couple- Any Good News? Yes, this innocent question can cause a hiccup in the seemingly cordial marital relationship. This is what happens here. The movie Hyderabad Blues2 explains in detail the cause and reasons of the marital discordance between the lead pairs.

In Hyderabad Blues1 we saw Varun and Ashwani getting married to each other. Six years have passed after their marriage. Varun on the behest of Ashwani leaves America and sets up a call center in his hometown Hyderabad. Now they have everything, good job, good friends, good money… But something is missing in their life- something that will complete the perfect family picture. After seeing the happiness of their friend Sanjeev and Seema, Varun realizes what they miss.

Varun’s friend Sanjeev (Vikram Inamdar) and his wife Seema (Elahe Hiptoola) are the proud parents of Riya and Rahul. Seema who is a very good matchmaker starts her own Marriage Bureau. They also have all what Varun and Ashwani plus something extra.

Ashwani is fed up with the nagging questions of their friends and family about kids. She now wants to start a family. But Varun is not yet ready for it. There starts the first episode of friction. Then comes the next.

Varun dismisses his floor manger on the charge of sexual harassment and appoints a Mumbai girl Menaka (Tisca Chopra) as his replacement. She is a girl who makes her career by seducing her bosses.

Varun and Menaka become very good friends. Varun’s former floor manager cooks up a story about them and narrates this to Ashwani. After some time Maneka startes to show her real self.

Will Varun resist Menaka? How will he and Ashwini deal with it?
