Audio Review : Kismat (2004)

Music: Anand Raaj Anand
Lyrics: Dev Kohli
Singers: Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik, Anand Raaj Anand, Daboo Malik, Gayatri Iyer, Richa Sharma, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan

When it comes to foot-tapping, racy Punjabi pop numbers, you can be sure that music director Anand Raaj Anand will deliver. And here he gets ample scope to churn out peppy songs since the film’s heroine is a pop singer-cum-performer. And who better to sing these numbers than the ever-reliable Sunidhi Chauhan, in her stylish voice. She is at her zestful best in ‘Mahi mahi mahi...’ and ‘Sajna se milne jaana...’. Richa Sharma too stands out in the serious romantic number ‘Dil teri deewangi mein...’ with Anand Raaj Anand himself. The other compositions don’t make much of a mark.
