‘Dhund- The Fog’ is a horror movie starring Amar Upadhayay, Aditi Govitrikar, Apoorva Agnihotri, Divya Palat, Irfan Khan, Sweta Menon, Prem Chopra and Gulshan Grover. Ramsays who had scared the daylight out of us are the ones behind this movie. Viju Shah scores music.

The album starts on a very monotonous note. The first track of the album ‘Samjho Na Mujhe’ is the dullest song of this year. Abhijeet and Madhusree are the chosen ones to sing this track. Unfortunately there is another version of this song  ‘Samjha Nahin’ crooned by a less known artist Poonam Bhatia. Both these songs compete with each other for the title  ‘the dullest track of the year’.

Next song  ‘Kitna Itezar’ is in the voice of Alka Yagnik. Her shrill voice makes this rhythmic track a fearsome musical experience.

Things start to get slightly better from here onwards. ‘Aaa Paas’ is a better track than the previous two- both in music and rendition. The song starts with an instrumental prelude. Then Shaan and Sunidhi come up with their vocals. Both the singers breathe life to this song.

Next track ‘Dilbar Mera Aaya’ is one of the best tracks in this album. Udit Narayan and Sunidhi Chauhan add grace to this song with their passionate rendition. The unnecessary chanting of the chorus negates the good work done by Udit and Sunidhi. But still it remains a likeable track.

After this nice track comes another one. ‘Mehki Mehki’ crooned by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik will find a place in the heart of the music lovers. Viju Shah’s musical arrangement needs a mention. He complements both the heavy and soft drum beats ingeniously.

‘Main Albeli Main Matwali’ has a beautiful melody. But the lyrics are overloaded with indecent double meanings. It is a pain to sit through this raunchy item number. Sunidhi Chauhan and Ila Arun sing this song.

To sum it up, this album contains the worst songs of this year. Never ever go for it.
