From the appearance of the film it seems that it has been stuck in the cans for 5-10 years now. ‘Chehraa’ was announced in the 90s and is still waiting to see the light of the day. It is one of those delayed films with an older starcast as well. So there is nothing lilting you can look forward to it and have to satisfy yourself with clichéd dialogues and scenes. Tentatively titled Chehraa/face is the integral theme and symbol in the film.But the surprise of the film is the twist in the story. The premise of the film is very different and intriguing. Topics such as euthanasia, second marriage, and insanity have been explored in this movie. Madhu has a strong role with strong, conflicting emotions.
