Sham (Bobby Deal) while on a run from the police, hides a diamond worth rupees 30 crore in a building under construction. He gets caught which follows his jail. After months he gets freed and he returns back to that building anticipating that the diamond will be lying there. But to his dismay the building has now become police headquarters. What does he do now? Begins the adventure that will make you roll with laughter.

He returns back as Inspector Ram by any means. Here he comes across Inspector Ranjita (Bipasha Basu) who falls in love with him believing him that he is a great inspector. Ranbir Singh (Paresh Rawal) is the ACP whose daughter Kajal (Shilpa Shetty) falls in love with his driver. There is Inspector Pande (Om Puri) who being of a suspecting nature senses something but thinks it to be paranoia. Tito (Ashish Vidyarthi) like Sham is also searching for that diamond and keeps getting into different mould from a thief to chaiwaala searching for it.
