Aasai Aasaiyaai launches a fresh face Jeeva, son of mega film producer R.B.Chaudri of ‘Super Good Films’. The film is a golden jubilee launch of the production company. Ravi Mariya a new director wields the baton for Aasai Aasaiyaai.
Aasai Aasaiyaai is a romantic love saga of Brinda (Sharmilee) and Vinod (Jeeva). The story takes off when Brinda’s sister elopes with a guy and her family to keep a check on her, employs a detective behind her. The detective here is Vinod, who in the course of the film falls for her. Vinod aspires to a businessman, and they both succumb to their love until they seek their wishful and their family accepts them.
Don’t be confused thinking that its some stuff you’ve heard before. For Aasai Aasaiyaai is a new package to an old tale. Even the scenes from the film where the lovers’ gives to their families, Vinod’s getting rich, are picks from recent films.
As the story appears downtrodden there is nothing much that the film holds onto. What is going great throughout is the screenplay that folds this conventional story in an interesting away. Another weary factor that jilt the fate of the movie is that some scenes move away very hurriedly lacking the rationality behind it. Vinod getting rich and his change of personality needs more insight to let the audience getting a better understanding. The unstructured and pun intended dialogues give way to wreckage again.
The romance is what clinches on to you. Both Jeeva and Sharmilee enact a good part here. Jeeva’s expressions and acting is apt. Another dancing star is born, this is what you feel when you see him. Sharmilee’s version is good too. Even the director has done a significant task with them. Nasser, Vijayakumar and Srividya are good with their roles. Mani Sharma hasn’t done a noteworthy work with the tracks, as only two songs are fine with the rest wasted along the line.
