H S Taneja Border Hindustan Ka has been stuck on the shelves for a long time. This is another movie with cross-border terrorism casting Faisal Khan, Priya Gill, Aditya Pancholi and Akshaye Khanna. The movie hasn’t been in news and neither the music by Dilip-Hari Kishen and lyrics by Tahir Ambalvi . The composers and lyricist are just invading the field of music and thus are not very familiar ones. This is evident in this soundtrack as we come across boring music all along.

The first track looks good with ‘Balle Balle Ve Tor’, a traditional Punjabi bhangra rendered well by Udit Narayan and Jaspinder Narula. Their voices grip the song and make the flow spontaneous. The track falls in favour of the listeners.

‘Beti Dhan Begana’ is nothing significant being a mediocre wedding track sung by Mohd. Aziz. He just fails to impress with his vocals. The track is fairly passable.

A patriotic song for this patriotic film. But ‘Hum Hind Ke Veer’ fails miserably too. Sonu Nigam sounds very ordinary and it is evident that he hasn’t flexed much of his efforts. The composition lacks depth and the outcome is pitiable.

Another pathetic track to follow is ‘Powarh Paigaya Re’. The composition needs a special mention here for being so downtrodden and fragile. Even the talented voices of Sukhwinder Singh and Jaspinder Narula fail to imply much effectivity. Though they put in a good effort, the music succumbs to it.

‘Soni Peer Faqeer’ repeats the same tale of woe. Udit Narayan, Jaspinder Narula and Prem Bhatia gives a dull rendition. The misery continues!

Now we’re striving for something good. But is anybody listening. We are faced with ‘Yaad Aati Hai’. A boring track and even the singers Kumar Sanu, Vinod Rathod and Udit Narayan rightly agree to it. This is an emotion struck song which also makes us scream.

Thankfully this was the end for the torture was no more bearable. If you’re in need of  a sleep, just go for it!
