Boom revolves around three supermodels, Anu Gaekwad (Madhu Sapre), Sheila Bardez (Padma Lakshmi) and Rina Kaif (Katrina Kaif).

Living and working together in India, they belong to the international fashion world.

But soon a, fashion show set against the backdrop of the Gateway of India, goes horribly wrong.

Much to her embarrassment, Anu trips on the ramp. To make matters worse, she and her two model friends get embroiled in a fight with a rival model.

In the scuffle that follows, the model's hair comes off loose to reveal hundreds of glittering stolen diamonds.

These fall onto the ramp only to be snatched up by the waiting news media and celebrities alike.

These diamonds were stolen by Abdul (Jackie Shroff), Mumbai's notorious gangster.

They were due to be smuggled to Dubai on the night of the fashion show and handed over to his elder brothers.

One of the brothers, Saleem (Gulshan Grover) is the go-between who handles the business side of their underworld operations.

He answers to Bade Mia (Amitabh Bachchan), India's most notorious gangster.

Bade Mia now wants these priceless diamonds to be recovered at any costs.

So the hunt for Anu and her fellow models, begins thinking that they are involved in the disappearance of the diamonds.

Can these three girls see their planning and plotting bear fruit or is their master plan doomed?

Can the three Dons outwit them and not get bluffed by their obvious charms? Or will the whole thing go BOOM?
