Baaz - A Bird in Danger, is a production of Kapishek Films P. Ltd. to be directed by Tinu Verma. The plot revolves on an interesting note and is a thriller. But the script doesn’t have the potentiality to sail the movie in the mouth of success. The music is by Ismail Darbar. But the genre of music that he has created is not his forte. The music suffers in his hands. Mehboob has done the lyrics.
The opening track is ‘Aye Subhah’ by Roop Kumar Rathod and Sadhana Sargam. It is a syrupy song with Mehboob giving some apt lyrics to praise the beauty of a lover. The composition is standard with classical base. The track again repeats twice with a solo by both the singers.
An energetic track is ‘Chehre Pe’ by Sukhwinder Singh, Sadhana Sargam and Shaan. The upbeat touch, a violin interlude, chorus and harmonized percussion are the highlight of the track. The vocals do the necessary but the song doesn’t prove to be an earmark on any grounds.
Sunidhi Chauhan and Kailash Kher with all their vigor render ‘Arre Arre Jala Koi’. The track has an advantage of pacy instruments and is somewhat appealing. The track repeats twice in the album.
Another instrumental flick appears as ‘Sannate Mein’. The musical implementation seems alike to the former track. The only difference being that it sounds a bit creepy. It is assumed to be a situational track. The rendition by Sunidhi Chauhan and Vijay Prakash are okay. The track doesn’t have the strength to hold on and appears dull.
‘Tujhe Paake’ by Kavita K. Subramanium and Mohammed Salamat doesn’t disappoint. It is a love duet with a slow, soft music. The track is better than the previous acquaintances. Ismail Darbar at last shows some potentiality. The track will find prospective listeners.
Ismail Darbar doesn’t keep up to expectation. His experimentation with the music doesn’t hold any excitement. With a fragile plot and music, the film is sure to suffer!
