This film is based on Raja (Govinda) who takes a vow of celibacy.

But life takes a turn when Raja's mother saves Aarti, a girl about to commit suicide. She brings her home. But this decision is strongly opposed by Raja.

Due to Aarti's mentally disturbed nature, Raja 's mother makes the final decision that she should stay with them.

It's now up to Raja to try and evict their 'guest' but the more he tries, the more closer he gets to Aarti.

It reaches a point when Raja's mother decides to marry them off.

Once again Raja opposes to this decision but his mother would not hear otherwise.

On the wedding night, there is a fire in the house. Aarti surprises everyone by saving Raja's mother.

This act of goodwill deeply moves Raja.He begins to love and care for her.

This helps Aarti to overcome her mental illness but she still cannot remember who she is.

Soon her uncle and aunt manage to track her down and in the absence of Raja, they take her away.

Raja now goes to the city to find his beloved. But when he finds Aarti, her uncle and aunt do not allow him to meet her.

So he disguises himself as the doctor specialising in mentally ill patients and enters their home.

He sees to it that everyone in the house becomes mad enough to admitted to the hospital.

But one of the family members find the truth. In the fight that follows, Aarti suffers from a heart attack and is admitted to hospital.

When she comes back to her senses, Aarti remembers everything except the time spent with Raja when they got married.

So Raja must now prove that he is really her husband but will he succeed? Watch this rib tickler to find out.

His last film Ek Aur Ek Gyarah did not fare well at the box-office. So Govinda is banking on Raja Bhaiya to get him back onto the Bollywood scene.

Govinda is all set to sing a song in this soon to be released film.

An additional song was recently recorded by Govinda himself under the expertise of music directors Nadeem-Shravan.

Raja Bhaiya had Govinda pairing with Priyanka Chopra (Aandaz fame) but was later replaced by former Miss India Worldwide, Aarti Chhabria due to dates problems.
