Producer: Shogun Films Ltd. Director: T. K. Rajeev Kumar Cast: Arvind Swami, Manisha Koirala, Appu (the baby elephant), Music: Jatin-Lalit
This film took too long for its release, whereby killing the novelty. Controversy had gathered around the film from the time Maneka Gandhi took a stand against the use of a baby elephant in the film.
Anyway, the film is about Mohit (Arvind Swamy) who comes to the city to look for Manisha (Manisha Koirala) and ends up with a bunch of kids and a baby elephant. Then Manisha is captured by an evil prince and now it is for the hero Mohit to go after the badies and rescue the damsel in distress.
The baby elephant and the computer-generated- graphics are cute and funny, but the villain part of the story is neither appealing to an adult audience nor entertaining for the children.
Add bad direction and non-exhisting music score to this and you have a film that simply cannot make it. Arvind Swami is stiff and not comfortable with commedy. Manisha Koirala sleep-walks through this film. If your children insists then go, otherwise just avoid it.
