Arun (Shah Rukh) and Javed (Jackie) are cops from the special squad of Mumbai police. Javed, a widower, has four children who hate Arun. When Javed is killed in a mission, Arun and his wannabe music director friend (Dilip Joshi) unsuccessfully try to make the kids happy. That is when Geeta (Juhi) steps in with a delightful Haryanvi accent mouthing, "Kapil Dev ki kasam," and going into bouts of brouhaha about love, sex and the works. They fall in love and everything is fine till Arun sees Geeta dancing in druglord KKV's (Nirmal Pandey) club. What happens next?
