  It is not surprising that after the phenomenal success of ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’, the pair of the hit film Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel are repeated again for this film. ‘Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage’ brings the team together for the second time and is produced by Rohit Kumar and directed by Vikram Bhatt. Also composer Rajesh Roshan joins the duo for the music of the film. Needless to say with such names in the credits the expectations from the film is sky-high. It is one of the most awaited films of the season.

Hrithik and Amisha whose career hasn’t taken a good flight after their debut, is anticipating a hit from this film. After the debacle of ‘Yaadein’ it has become very important for Hrithik to deliver a hit as a solo hero to sustain his career. Amisha too after the failure of ‘Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar’ is looking forward to add a hit to her career graph.

The film was launched before the release of K.N.P.H but it took it sometime in the making, as Hrithik got engrossed in Khalid Mohamed’s Fiza, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Mission Kashmir, Subhash Ghai’s Yaadein and Karan Johar’s K3G. These were the films he had signed even before he became a sensational actor. His forthcoming release after this reads Kunal Kohli’s Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Arjun Sablok’s Na Tum Jaano Na Hum.

‘Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage’ is a romantic saga of Sapna (Amisha Patel) and Rohit (Hrithik Roshan). Sapna is like a bird wanting to break free from the cage. She is refined to the house in the custody of her father Dholakia a business tycoon, and hotheaded brother Raman. He has also arranged escorts for her. She comes across Rohit (Hrithik Roshan) during the nine days of 'dandiya raas'. These nine days becomes the best phase of her life when she discovers life and love that infuses in her the zeal to live life fully. Sapna and Rohit eventually fall in love but what lies ahead of them they are not even aware of. With truth, sacrifice and devotion they triumph their love.

The film is slated to release on April 19, 2002.
