‘Andaaz’ takes a closer look into human emotions like loyalty, friendship, respect, commitment, passion, devotion, and love. Though all these emotions are very much alike and relatable, there is only a thin line that separates one from another. This is a film that gives an overview with all this emotional facets entwined with love. The emotional saga of three lives with Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra begins. It is love that changes their destiny.

It is true that love knows no time. But if love is not expressed at the right time, fate takes a different turn. Raj (Akshay Kumar) and Kaajal (Lara Dutta) have grown up together and are inseparable. They are childhood friends who’ve stood for each other through the ups and downs in life. Through the years their bond have grown stronger and they have grown fonder of each other. Raj aspires to be a pilot, while Kaajal is waiting for the arrival of the man in her life. She is unaware that Raj is smitten by her. Raj heads for his goal and returns back as an Air Force officer. After all these achievement, there is only one thing to be done. To propose his love to Kaajal. But after he returns home he realizes that it is too late for him to declare his love. Kaajal is getting married to Karan Singhania (Aman Verma).

Raj is shattered. His only hope of survival is her memories and dreams of her in his eyes. To escape the truth he bows down to his work and goes off to South Africa for further training. Here he comes across the gorgeous and bubbly Jiya (Priyanka Chopra). It doesn’t take long for Jiya to fall in love with this handsome guy. Raj wants to keep him aloof and doesn’t let his heart wander. But Jiya is not among the ones to give in and with continuous persistence wins over his heart. They decide to get married and returns back to India. Here Raj again comes face to face with Kaajal. In this turn of events what will happen to Kaajal, Jiya and him? What does fate have in hold for them?
