‘Ansh - The Deadly Part’ is directed and written by Rajan Johri and the premise voices out against corruption that is dominating the country in which mostly the politicians have a role to play. The film is a take on the freedom from corruption. It is just another masala potboiler on crime and corruption.
The film revolves around three lead characters. DCP Bhagat Pandey (Om Puri) an honest IPS gets frequently transferred and this time he comes to Mumbai. Inspector Sukhdev Singh (Ashutosh Rana) for his honesty is sent to jail. Raj Guru (Abbas) has turned to be a gangster due to the corrupt system. Govind Edda (Sayaji Shinde) and Babu Bakshi (Milind Gunaji) are criminals who are raising their heads under the support of corrupt politicians.
With whatever odds he faces DCP Bhagat Pandey vows to remain honest to his profession. Sukhdev comes out of the jail with the aid of DCP Bhagat Pandey but he is so much appalled by the system that he takes law in his hand. Raj Guru woos the underworld don Dawoo (Ashish Vidyarthi) and his accomplice Munna Bhai (Rajat Bedi). He saves Shweta (Sharbani Mukherjee) a bar dancer from the hands of the evil man Govind Edda. He also gives away his love Kusum (Shama Sikander) after he joins Dawoo. Fate brings Bhagat Pandey, Sukhdev and Raj Guru together.
