Ad man Kailash Surendranath turns director with ‘Love You Hameesha’. He brings again the pair of Akshaye and Sonali after ‘Dahek’. Moon Moon Sen’s daughter Rhea debuts in this film. Fashion Guru Rohit Bal is playing himself in the film, as Sonali’s mentor in the fashion world. The film is a take on relationships and how demanding careers can change things.

‘Love You Hameesha’ is set in the milieu of Rajasthan. Shaurat (Akshaye Khanna) works there as a mechanic in garage. He meets Shivani (Sonali Bendre) who comes for a rich family and gets charmed by her beauty. When he approaches her Shivani agrees but she is engaged to Samrat (Amitabh Nanda). But she doesn’t like him, as he is spoiled, obsessive and mad. Shivani breaks her engagement with him and is left to face his anger. But life is not easy for them as Samrat and his father chase them through the town. Shaurat feels unhappy that he has to run away from them because Samrat is more rich and powerful then him. So he leaves for the city to make it big by any means. He decides to try his luck in films and gets a break from filmmaker Ketan Desai’s. Here he comes across Meghna (Rhea Dev Verma) who falls in love with him. What happens next?

The film deals with a contemporary subject and thus will fascinate the moviegoers of the city. Director Kailash’s approach is appealing and refreshing very much in sync with the ad films he has created. The film deals with an unusual subject. Music is another lilting part of the enterprise. 

But the film will suffer due to non-saleable star cast. Akshaye Khanna’s recent film hasn’t done well and so there’s not much hope from this film either. Rhea is more glamour than talent. Also Sonali is average in this film.
