  ‘Aapko Pehle Bhi Kahin Dekha Hai’ is a story about a loving and possessive father, something that is an instance of many households. It goes at length to portray the sensitive relationship between a father and his daughter. The film is directed by writer-director Anubhav Sinha.

Om Puri is one such father who loves his daughter Saakshi very dearly and cannot come in terms with the fact that she’ll get married and go away to her husband’s place leaving him, very much like all other daughters do. He also thinks that no other man in this earth would be able to love his daughter as much as he does. Much to his dismay the inevitable happens. His daughter Saakshi falls in love with Priyanshu. Om Puri under no circumstance approves of him. However he complies with his daughter’s wish and gets her married to him.
