Producer: B C Patil Director: B C Patil Cast: BC Patil, Ashwini, BV Radha, Shobaraj, Prakash, Satyajith, Vijay Kaundinya, Harish Roy, Ashok Kheni Music: Sai Karthik
A story of success, the tale begins with the encounter specialist B C Patil (patil) and owing to the special powers he has from his superiors, he keeps wiping away the bad guys. However, that is not well received by the crime world and in no time, they come up with a plan which frames Patil and he gets trapped in a case. Added to that, there is a change in the government and due to this Patil resigns his job and lands up in the jail. There he comes across farmers who are being treated badly and with their support, he joins politics. Luckily, he manages to win an assembly seat and a twist of events occur which make him the crucial person to form government. Patil demands home ministry and as soon as he takes power, he starts his wiping out process. This sounds like a threat to the CM and trouble begins, what happens from there forms the rest of the story. The director has come up with a literal story of himself and though the presentation was okay, the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were standard, the script was normal, the screenplay was plain. Music didn't have much effect and only one song is worth taking home, cinematography was good at few points, editing was neat, costumes and art department were pale. Patil tried to do his best in acting but then he should have focused on his physique, Ashwini looks hot and sexy, Vijay comes across with an impressive performance, B V Radha was regular, Shobaraj was standard, Prakash was okay, the others did their bit as required. The film seems to have touched base with the life of Patil as such and then there were few masala items included for the film's sake. While the first half goes about with the action sequences and the regular political drama, the second half gets into the mass movements and also the routine climax. Though the impact is not good, the film must be appreciated for its intent and perhaps the presence of a much branded and regular star would have created a larger impact. This might appeal a few at the B and C centers but success is not guaranteed.
